You don’t have to ask me twice to head to Anini – my happy place – for an photo shoot! That’s where I photographed Dave and Ashley, and it was an absolute dream session in every way.
Ashley made this fantasy date happen as a surprise for her hubby to celebrate their 10 year anniversary on Anini. She teamed up with Kalea Kauai, luxury picnic styling for a romantic atmosphere and caterer Juan Saenz who created a delicious dinner with all of Dave’s favorites.
We headed to the beach about an hour before the sun was setting, which made the light especially rich, and the ocean water a deep blue. They were all smiles when they showed up at the beach to see a beautiful, cozy space just for them. It was truly a like a scene from a romantic movie that Briana of Kalea Kauai created.
Ashley wore the hottest little white dress that she looked absolutely incredible in, and she made a big phat lei for Dave, which surprised him and made him feel cherished by his lady.
They were such a fun-loving couple. They were having a great time swinging each other around, jumping in the air together and kissing and hugging the whole time. Dave was enjoying himself so much that I mentioned that it wasn’t so bad having your photos taken, right?! His response was, “Yeah, no big deal, it’s all about whatever makes her happy.” Gahhhh! Love him!
I was so happy that Ashley asked me to capture this sweet evening at Anini that they shared. And guys, even after 10 years these two are so in love. I could totally see how they make each other light up, they have fun together, and really respect each other. Love is alive and well people!
