STAY-HOME DATE NIGHT IDEAS
Have a look at these different ways to spend quality time together. I hope you try these and fall in love with each other even more.
Old School Video Games
This one will bring you back. Go to https://www.retrogames.cz and get competitive, retro style.
Double Date Challenge
Pick a song, dress the part and record a music video. Send the video to another couple and challenge them to send you one back.
Vision Board
You will need scissors, tape or glue and magazines. Start pulling out magazine pages with images that you’re drawn to, just stuff that you like. Then look at all of your pages and cut out the images that you want to add to the board. Arrange the images and glue them down. Add your own artwork, words, doodles, anything that you would like to attract more of into your life. Hang this up in a place that you can see it often. Watch for your blessing to start showing up.
Artistic Collaboration
Turn on a mellow playlist and sit across from each other with one blank paper between you both. Doodle on your side of the page, each time a new song comes on, spin the page so that you are working on your partner’s side.
Get Fancy
Who says you need a place to go to get dressed up? Pull out your finest digs and have a formal night in. Light candles play romantic music. Make sure you do some slow dancing barefoot in your living room.
Massages
Find some oil and work out those sore muscles. For a twist, you can give each other a foot rub at the same time, but no talking. The idea is to rub your partner’s foot the way you want your own foot rubbed. Physical communication!
Theme Night
Pick anything, it could be a place (your honeymoon destination or bucket-list vacation spot, Hawaii-obviously!!), a decade (80’s!!- break out the neon and hairspray), or your favorite movie. Plan your night around your theme with what to wear, eat, the background music, and what to watch.
Read
Take turns reading a chapter from a book to each other. This activity goes well with a pot of tea.
Let’s Get Physical
Go to YouTube to learn a new dance or try a new workout together. Salsa lessons, Zumba class, acro yoga, anything you have never tried together.
Picnic
Make a cheese board/charcuterie tray, lay down a comfy blanket in the living room. Feed each other and play a board game like scrabble or chess.
Strip Poker
Nuff said. 😉
